While waiting 4.5 years for our daughter’s adoption to finalize, we read a lot of books. None of them fit our family, so I wrote one.

Here’s hoping this gives kids in foster care (or their friends, classmates, and teachers) an idea of what to expect when everything feels so uncertain.
