I’m a Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based writer.

I have a journalism background and have worked for many years in digital marketing + e-commerce (but we won’t talk about that here). I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Nevada, Reno-Tahoe (fka Sierra Nevada University), where I was awarded the Exceptional Manuscript Scholarship.

When not marketing and working on a memoir or personal essays, I’m reading/editing nonfiction for the Sierra Nevada Review.
